Surfacescape, ornamentation, and decoration are exquisitely executed in the works of the upcoming contemporary artists Oishi Sayaka and Suzuki Hideaki. Dai Ichi Arts is delighted to spotlight their work in our biannual "New Artists" exhibition.
This iteration of "New Artists" takes the form of two virtual, private studio tours of the artists Oishi Sayaka and Suzuki Hideaki. Also included are descriptive interviews and commentaries, wherein the viewer may be guided through the Artists' production processes as though being personally guided by a friend. This exhibition highlights the new and innovative contemporary ceramic processes by two radical ceramicists in a traditional Japanese pottery industry. We hope that this exhibition makes understandings of new production methods accessible for viewers, collectors, scholars, and beyond.
