A third-generation master potter in the Suwa Sozan lineage, Sozan III continues the family tradition of creating exquisite celadon ceramics.
This water jar is made from iron-rich Chinese Yixing clay which is traditionally a deep purple-brown. This gives the blue celadon a warm hue. Its geometric form adds a modern touch to the classical character.
Celadon glazed water jars are considered prized and formal additions to the tea ceremony. How would you curate your tea ceremony space?
