He is known for establishing a unique style with his colorful sense of color. Goro Suzuki is a ceramic artist who creates unconventional and original works. He is a Japanese ceramic artist active in the Showa and Heisei eras, born in Aichi Prefecture.Suzuki began making pottery at the age of 16, and at the age of 28, he visited the U.S., where he was exposed to pottery as an art form. This is how Goro developed his style of creating works of art with a free sensibility, while mastering the techniques of a craftsman. Later, while pursuing Momoyama ceramics, Goro Suzuki continued to create original techniques that were not mere imitations of Momoyama ceramics. Based on Oribe, Shino, and Kiseto, he is known for establishing his own unique style with a colorful sense of color, decorating curvy and eccentric vessels with unique patterns and designs.
