A classic, press-moulded square bottle showing a swift, ladle-poured iron oxide glaze decoration. Bold, black iron glaze streaks sweep across the warm, oat-colored salt-glazed stoneware. It comes accompanied with a signed wooden box. Hamada once expressed that the vessel’s body holds greater significance than its glaze—while the glaze serves as clothing, the body is its heart.
Admired for its natural, organic coloration and durability, salt glazing dates back to 12th-century Germany.
