1937  Born in Ibe, Bizen, Okayama Prefecture
   Father is Mori Shuji, one of the six traditional potters in Bizen
1959  Graduated from Okayama University, Department of Fine Arts
1962  Begins ceramic activities in Ibe, Bizen Town
1963  Selected for the first time in the 10th Japan Traditional Crafts Exhibition
1966  Became a regular member of the Japan Crafts Association
1969  Awarded the Ceramic Society of Japan Prize
1977  Completed a large kiln 46m long, 2.7m wide, and 2.1m high
1979  Completed the production of the large kiln and large jar
1980  Fired the Aioi large kiln (46 m long)
   Completed a large jar and a large pot, and established a reputation
1983  Completed the large kiln of Kanpu (53m)
1996  Received the Sanyo Newspaper Award
   Recognized as a holder of Important Cultural Property by Okayama Prefecture
2002  Awarded the Gold Prize of the Ceramic Society of Japan for the first time as a Bizen artist
2008  Completed the construction of the new large kiln (85m)
2009  Began production of a new five-stone large jar (Shingokoku-Ogame)
2014  Completed the firing of the new large kiln
2015  Firing the new large kiln in January, stopping the fire in April, and removing the kiln in July
