1955  Graduated from Kyoto City University of Arts, Major in Crafts, Ceramics
1957  Graduated from Kyoto City University of Arts
    Studied under Kenkichi Tomimoto
1961  Research assistant at Kyoto City University of Arts, Crafts Department
1962  Became a lecturer at Indiana State University, U.S.A.
1971  Assistant Professor at Kyoto City University of Arts
1978  Awarded the Encouragement Prize at the Japan Traditional Crafts Exhibition
1983  Died at the age of 50
